Show Reports

Apr 5/08 Show Report: A great way to end the Series - a beautiful Spring day! Entries were up in hunters and jumpers with 54 entries completing 157 trips plus jump offs and 3 under saddle classes making for a full day with some competitive and fun classes. Thank you to our Hunter Judge Cathy Aker, and thank you to the over 75 horses and riders who participated in the Series. Congratulations to our Series Champions posted above. Thank you to our Series sponsors for providing Championship prizes - Equestrian Factory Outlet (the Guelph area store), and Greenhawk Harness and Equestrian Supplies. The show results and an updated Championship Points Chart are posted below.

Mar 2/08 Show Report: Thank you to all that came to the second show of the Series. A good day with increased numbers in the hunters and jumpers resulting in some competitive classes at the higher levels of both sections. Results and an updated Championship Chart are posted below. Hopefully by the final April 5th show there will be no snow! Shoot Photographic was able to attend and show photos may be found at www.shootphoto.ca

Feb 3/08 Show Report: Thank you to all who came out on a snowy weekend to the inaugural Winterfest Hunter/Jumper show, and your positive feedback. A quiet morning gave lots of ring time for hunter competitors. Our new course of hunter and jumper jumps (photos provided on Winterfest web pages) were well received. Thank you to judge Robyn Baechler. We enjoyed a busier and fun afternoon for the jumpers with courses from 2'6 to 3'6.
