From Toronto/Hamilton/London area Take QEW Hwy toward Niagara. After coming over the Garden City Skyway bridge on the far side of St. Catharines, exit at Exit 38B. Loop around to the north side of the highway by going over the QEW. At the next stop light/York Rd, turn left and go to Airport Rd. Turn right on Airport Rd. to Regional Road 55. Turn right on Regional Rd 55, continue through the village of Virgil, on Regional Rd 55/Niagara Stone Rd/Mississauga St (all the same road) into NOTL. Watch for Anne St on your right and turn right at the next street, John St (John St is not well marked). On John St cross over King St and watch for the show ground entrances on your left . (If you miss John, turn right at the next stop light, Mary St to get to King St. At King St, turn right, then left on John St. and watch for show grounds).

NOTE - for those traveling from east of Oakville, it is recommended to consider using the 407 versus the QEW to reach Hamilton, to avoid regular QEW traffic jams in the Oakville area.

Scenic alternative to the above Take directions above to York Rd, but turn right. Continue on York Rd through the village of St David’s until York Rd ends at a “T” junction, which is the Niagara River Parkway in Queenston. Turn left toward NOTL. Follow the Niagara River Parkway until John St (where there are signs for Fort George on the right), turn left. Watch for the show ground entrances on your right.

From USA Cross into Ontario, Canada north of Buffalo following Hwy 190 to the Queenston/Lewiston Bridge at Lewiston. NY.

Scenic and steep hill route (Queenston Heights): On occasion, just after Canadian Customs on the Canadian side of Queenston Bridge, there is an opening to Niagara River Parkway immediately to the right after Customs. If not, continue to the Stanley St exit. Stanley St is the first exit, very soon after the bridge. From the Stanley St. exit, turn right at the stop sign (Townline Rd), then left on Portage which follows the highway in reverse. This will take you to Niagara River Parkway. Continue north on Niagara River Parkway to John St., NOTL, turn left to the show grounds. Watch for show ground entrances on your right.

USA Trailers From the border, stay on Hwy 405/QEW to the second exit, Exit 38, and follow either of the first two directions (from Toronto) above.

NOTE – A Map Quest search for the area shows Queen’s Parade Park which is part of Fort George. Queen’s Parade (the road) is a continuation of the Niagara River Parkway north of John Street. The show grounds are in NOTL located off John Street between King Street and Niagara River Parkway (aka Niagara Parkway). The site is known locally as the Polo Grounds on Fort George Commons. Some map searches also show the grounds as Memorial Park which is a small section off King St owned by the town for tennis etc...
